Image Communication is the Ricoh vision that leads to maximized communications effectiveness in the office. The core if Image Communication is an integrated digital environment, increasing productivity and realizing intellectual creativity in the offices of our customers.
We think in images. We understand in images. And we communicate in images.
Naturally. Image Communication is the driving force behind all that Ricoh does. It's helping people to create, transmit, print, and store all forms of image : including words, pictures, data and even voice. Without limits. The result is a new communications environment. One that enhances overall office productivity by combining PCs with any type of image -processing system. In everything we do, and everything we are, Image Communication is at the heart of our existence.
Image Communication addresses the fact that we have come to the point where many different types of digital office equipment is now available but that we do not have a truly integrated environment. That's why Image Communication is about making the selection and understanding of information easier and more effective.
Text will consequently be integrated with images, graphics and sound. This will take us within the field of multimedia.

IC connects all Ricoh product divisions with one company vision. Image Communication is based on four basic processes in communication :
Create (camera, scanning)
Transmit (fax, modem)
Print (copying, printing) and
Storage (CD ROM, CD RW).
So, Image Communication is the link between our people and it helps us to define our common goal.
