Ricoh (Philippines), Inc., in coordination with the Ricoh group is gearing towards becoming
the Winner in the 21st Century. Ricoh is now starting work on Customer Satisfaction Management,
Supplies Chain Management, Complaint Management System, and Sales Re-engineering process in
preparation for this event.
Aficio, derived from the Latin afficio, a root meaning to manage, handle, move, or influence,
and the Spanish aficionado, meaning enthusiast or fan, is a creative Ricoh concept communicating
the company's commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
Since the moniker conveys sophistication, the Aficio brand is appropriate for identifying Ricoh's
advanced digital and color products in the highly competitive office equipment industry.
We will continue developing and supporting the brand to help gain the edge required outdistancing
the competition.
Ricoh is also constructing its own environmental management system earlier than other manufacturers
based on ISO 14000, the international standard on environmental management system by placing
priority on three main objectives: "resource conservation and recycling", "energy saving" and
"pollution prevention". Ricoh, as a leading company toward 21st century, believes we must lead
challenges to environment preservation
Basic Policy
Based on our management principles, Ricoh recognizes environmental conservation as one of the most
important missions given to mankind, and we regard environmental conservation as an integral element
in all our business activities. The Ricoh Group, therefore, assume responsibility for environmental
conservation and approach this on a company wide basis.
The Ricoh Group believes it is important for employees to act as corporate citizens as well as implement
environmental conservation activities individually in voluntary ways both inside and outside the company.
Through the Ricoh Community Contribution Club, the Group is involved in nurturing environmental volunteer
leaders, organizing community-oriented volunteer activities, and encouraging employees to make donations
of their own volition. Ricoh also actively participates in organizations, academic societies, and committees
involved in environmental conservation and contribute by providing information and support to those entities.
Cooperation is extended to environmental conservation meetings as well, including the Eco Partnership
Tokyo Convention, by contributing and lending products and meeting venues.
