1. PCL/PJL Command List

PCL Command List: (Ricoh Specific)

This document describes the language specification of the printer page description language called Hewlett-Packard’s PCL, to aid the development of programs using it. It describes in detail the changes and additions made to Hewlett-Packard’s PCL5e/PCL5c/PCLXL specification. These will allow better use of Ricoh printers.

PJL Command List: (Ricoh Specific)

This document describes the language specification of the printer job control language known as PJL (Ricoh Specific), to aid the development of programs, which use it. PJL (Ricoh Specific) is based on the PJL (Printer Job Language) of Hewlett-Packard Company, and some of the commands have been extended specifically for Ricoh. These will allow better use of Ricoh printers. In this document hereafter, PJL (Ricoh Specific) is referred as PJL.

2. Postscript Language Addendum(Ricoh Specific)

This document describes the language specification of PostScript3 needed to write programs for use in Ricoh printers. It describes the changes and additions made to the Adobe Systems Incorporated PostScript3 specification. Using Ricoh's own extension operators, it is possible to use various printer features such as finisher options. This will allow better use of Ricoh printer through PostScript3.

3. Standard MIB

Standard MIB provides the MIB information of each equipment, which conforms to RFC1213, RFC1514 and RFC1759 standard. These information will be useful if we would need to obtain the basic information(Machine ID, model,etc) of each equipment, or if there is a need to monitor the status of the machine over the network. SNMP is used for the communication between each Ricoh Equipment and the monitoring application.
